CBD oil for dogs - Why should CBD be given to aging dogs

CBD oil for dogs Gives a great relief to their pain Problem!

Aging dogs often suffer from arthritis. A new study shows that dogs treated with CBD have experienced a significant improvement in pain relief as well as an increase in function.

Osteoarthritis, also known as 'cartilage erosion' or osteoarthritis, is a disorder of the body joints that includes loss of articular cartilage, growth of bone bumps in the joints and an inflammatory side effect.

One in five dogs suffer from arthritis during their lifetime, especially in old age or obesity, and many of them have real osteoarthritis.

Dogs suffering from arthritis experience a great deal of pain, along with changes in behavior such as reluctance to get up and walk, limp and difficulty running, and climbing stairs.

The main causes of arthritis in dogs are genetic and most common in purebred dogs, especially from certain breeds such as Gold Retriever or Labrador and a German Shepherd.

The treatment of arthritis in dogs today relies primarily on non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) - ie common analgesics (in Israel) such as Ophthalgin or Nurofen.

However, the problem with taking these types of drugs regularly is the damage they do to the kidneys and the digestive system and therefore the need to find another treatment is increasing.

CBD for Dogs for Relief of Arthritis

In a new study conducted by Cornell University researchers in New York, a group of 22 dogs with osteoarthritis were tested and treated with various doses of CBD oil.

Some dogs received 2 mg CBD per kg weight, some received 8 mg per kg and some received oil that did not contain CBD at all and served as a control group.

Dogs ’pain and function levels were assessed by their owners and their veterinarians, with none of them knowing which group the dog was in and whether they were receiving CBD or placebo.

The study found a significant decrease in pain level and a significant increase in activity in dogs treated with CBD, compared to the placebo group where there was a slight increase in pain.

Previous research has already shown that CBD has the potential for medical assistance and relief for dogs, for example in a previous study from the University of Colorado that found up to 89% reduction in the frequency of epileptic seizures in dogs treated with CBD oil.

Remember that unlike CBD, which is a component with no psychoactive effect, THC consumption may actually be dangerous for dogs.

CBD Cannabis oil is able to kill antibiotic-resistant bacteria

Research: CBD has been able to kill “antibiotic-resistant” bacteria "Bacteria", such as those that have developed resistance to commonly used antibiotics, pose a threat to modern medicine in the fight against infections. New research shows that cannabidiol (CBD) may have the potential to be used as a new type of antibiotic to which the bacteria are not immune. With evolution, bacteria have become immune to certain types of antibiotics being used against infections - a fact that is a major threat to the future of medicine and worries researchers around the world. Such a bacterium, which has developed resistance to several different types of antibiotics, is known as a "Super Bug", and the concern is that one day bacteria will develop to be resistant to all known antibiotics so that they cannot be treated. Scientists from Australia who have tried to find possible solutions to the problem believe that cannabidiol (CBD), the major non-doping cannabinoid in cannabis
